Accomodation
We will be staying in a private luxury villa for the week, with ocean views, a large private pool, fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor BBQ area and air conditioned rooms.

November in Fiji is one of the best times for water activities in Fiji. With lower winds and temperatures of around 29 degrees, it is a perfect time to visit Fiji.

Accommodation
Where we’ll be staying- Villa Vanua, Raikiki
Welcome to our luxury Private Villa, where we will be relaxing after each day of diving with a drink in hand watching a stunning Fijian Sunset.
There will be a private cook at the accomodation preparing us 3 healthy and freshly caught (from the fish we catch ourselves) meals per day. All dietary requirements will be catered for.
Freediving Courses
This trip is perfect for all levels of freedivers—from complete beginners to experienced divers. No prior experience is required, though having some will help you get even more from the trip.
Throughout the week, our experienced female instructor team will run Molchanovs Wave 1 (Beginner) and Wave 2 (Intermediate) courses. These include:
- Engaging theory sessions
- Static breath-hold training in a warm pool
- Depth line sessions in the ocean to build comfort and confidence
There’s no pressure to dive deep or meet requirements—just support, fun, and progress at your own pace. If you meet the criteria by the end of the week, you’ll earn an internationally recognised Molchanovs Wave 1 or 2 certification.
- Start in Wave 1 if you're new or have limited snorkelling experience.

Wave 1 (Beginner Freediver):
- Dive to 12–20m
- Breath-hold up to 3 minutes
- Learn equalisation and basic rescue skills
Wave 2 (Advanced Freediver):
- Dive to 24–30m (or 15–20m without fins)
- Breath-hold up to 4 minutes
- Master equalisation techniques
- Perform deeper rescue drills
Spearfishing
Spearfishing is completely optional during this trip - you are more than welcome to Freedive instead!
Fiji is known for its amazing reefs, incredible visibility, deep drop-offs, and impressive fish!
Most of these reefs drop from 3m to 40m+ and span hundreds of metres. We’ll visit several different spearfishing sites known to hold some incredible fish.
In small groups, our experienced women spearfishing guides will teach you techniques used to target tropical fish species and help you become a more confident and capable spearo.
If you’re completely new to spearfishing or just getting into it, don’t worry—we’ve got you covered! We’ll provide the tools and techniques you need to hunt safely underwater.
No egos here—feel completely comfortable making mistakes and learning along the way. That’s what it’s all about! As long as you're having fun and staying safe.
Trip FAQ’s
What wetsuit thickness is best?
For freediving or spearfishing we recommend bringing a 3.5mm, 2-piece wetsuit with a hood. A surfing steamer would also do the trick.
Do I have to bring my own dive weights?
While we are working on getting a whole bunch of dive weights to Fiji, you will have to bring your own weights. For a 3mm wetsuit, you will generally only need 2 -3 x 1kg weights.
How do I best travel with dive gear/spearfishing equipment?
It’s easier than you think travelling with dive gear!
We use a Sportube to carry our gear. You can also use a snowboard/surfboard bag and wrap your fins/speargun in towels and clothing to protect them.
You are allowed to travel with spearfishing gear, however you will need to make sure your knife and speargun are in check-in baggage and that your speargun is unloaded with a protective tip on the spear.
What Freediving Course Level can I do?
If you have never done a freediving course, you will start in the Wave 1 Course. If things progress well, you will be able to move into the Wave 2 Course.
If you have done the Wave 1 course (or equivalent with another agency), you will join the Wave 2 Course. OR if you are already diving to depths of 15m + we can complete a crossover so you can begin in the Wave 2 Course.
What if I’ve already completed a freediving course with another agency
No problem! We will cross you over into the Molchanovs Freediving system and slot you into whichever level suits your previous freediving course level and experience.
Cancellation and Refunds Policy?
Unfortunately we can't offer refunds.
If for any reason you have to cancel and let us know at least 90 days before the trip, you’ll be able to transfer the amount you have paid onto any future courses or trips.
If you cancel within 90 days before the trip start date, we cannot refund you and are unable to transfer the amount paid onto a future trip or course. You are able to transfer your ticket onto someone else.
We recommend getting travel cancellation insurance upon booking your spot on the trip, to save you any financial hardships if you need to cancel your trip. You can get travel insurance that covers this.
What if i've never done any Spearfishing before?
This trip is the perfect opportunity for those with little to no spearfishing experience, who are wanting to get more experience while being guided by our experienced spearfishing guides in the water! You will be taught techniques, which fish to target, and everything you need to know to become a safe and confident spearfisher!

We're so happy to have you! Purchasing this reserves a spot for one person for the November 2025 Women's Freediving & Spearfishing Trip, FIJI
This $500 deposit goes towards the total cost of the adventure.
PLEASE NOTE - This is a non-refundable deposit to confirm your space on the retreat. If you should choose not to join for any reason we are not able to refund this or give credit towards a future retreat. You will have to find a replacement to have your deposit back.
Are there financing options available?
We understand that financial considerations can be challenging. To make things easier, we’re happy to offer monthly instalment plans leading up to the retreat dates.
Cancellation Policy
If you decide to cancel before August 16th, 2025 then you will get everything you’ve paid minus the $500 deposit.
After August 16th, 2025 we can provide a refund (minus the $500 deposit) only if you can find a replacement for your spot.
Exceptions made if:
There’s a natural disaster that prevents the retreat from happening.
There’s a zombie apocalypse.
Then you will get a full refund including your deposit.
