Broughton & Cabbage Tree Island Snorkel / Freedive Trip

Everyone's Welcome – Freedivers & Snorkellers!

Whether you're a certified freediver or someone who just loves snorkelling, you will have a great day on the ocean. The only difference? If you haven't completed an official freediving course, you won't be wearing a weight belt – but you'll still get to experience everything else these incredible islands have to offer.

Broughton & Cabbage Tree Island Day Trip

Duration: 5 Hours
Location: Nelson Bay, NSW

Schedule:

• Departure: 8:00 AM from Conroy Park, Corlette (Nelson Bay)
• Return: Approximately 1:00 PM
• Travel Time: Around 20 minutes to our first destination, and a further 25 to the second destination. 

What You'll Experience:

• The Looking Glass at Broughton Island: One of NSW's hidden gems, famous for its vibrant marine life and resident grey nurse shark population
• Swim with Fur Seals & Grey Nurse Sharks: Get up close with these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat (depending on the time of the year)
• Dolphin Sightings: We're often joined by a playful pod of common dolphins along the way, anywhere from 50 - hundreds of dolphins!
• Marine Life Encounters: Keep an eye out for blue gropers, sea turtles, whales (in season), rays, and countless other pelagic creatures
• Natural Beauty: Experience breathtaking views and bring your own camera gear

What's Included:

• Freediving or snorkelling at several of our favourite hand picked dive spots 
• Snorkelling with the friendly local seal colony (depending on the season)
  
• Freediving line training for certified divers (our instructor will be in the water with you)
  
• Expert skipper & in water freediving instructor guide, to show you our favourite spots
• BYO food and drinks (we supply an ice cold esky!)
