Refund & Cancellation Policy

Freediving Courses (within Australia)

  • $175 of the total payment is non-refundable if you cancel.

  • Cancel 14+ days before course: refund minus $175, booking, and card fees.

  • Cancel within 14 days: no refund.

  • Multiple reschedules or cancellations may result in full charge, no refund.

  • No-shows: full charge, no refund.

International Trips

  • $500 deposit is non-refundable and cannot be used as credit.

  • Cancel 90+ days before: any amount paid beyond the deposit can be used as credit for future trips.

  • Cancel less than 90 days: no refund, but you can transfer your spot to someone else.

  • No-shows: full charge, no refund.

Local Island Boat Trips

  • $50 deposit is non-refundable. 

  • Cancel 14+ days before trip: refund minus fees.

  • Cancel within 14 days: no refund.

  • No-shows: full charge, no refund.

General

  • All cancellations must be emailed to saltypilgrims@gmail.com.

  • If we cancel due to low numbers or safety reasons, you’ll get a full refund minus fees or can reschedule.

  • We are not responsible for extra expenses like travel or accommodation—please get travel insurance.

  • Illness or emergencies: no refunds—please check your travel insurance.
