We are so confident when we say this is one of the most raw, untouched, and beautiful places left on Earth. The beauty of the nature here will leave a mark on you forever. It's what has kept us coming back here for the past 4 years.
We’ll stay together in private rainforest bungalows right next to the reef on a remote island. You’ll wake up to the sound of the ocean, share fresh, home-grown meals and the fish we catch ourselves, and spend your days exploring lagoons, end-of-the-earth reefs, waterfalls, coral caves and so much more.
From the moment you step off the plane and onto the boat that brings you to our destination for the week, you will feel your nervous system unravel and your mind slow down.
You’ll freedive in the clearest blue water, alongside manta rays, dolphins, and reef sharks. Whether you’re doing your Molchanovs course or simply diving for the joy of it, everything moves at your pace, supported by a group of like-minded women.

Where to fly into
Just a 3-hour flight from Brisbane or Fiji gets you to Honiara, followed by a 1-hour flight to Seghe. From there, enjoy a scenic 2-hour boat ride to our island lodge.
Upon booking, we will help to arrange flights to the Solomon Islands as part of a group booking!

Accomodation
There are 3 unique bungalows with private bedrooms, all with their own private outdoor ensuite. The rooms will be configured with 2 single beds.
There are big living spaces for you to relax & unwind with a coconut or a coffee. -
Weather
Temperatures of 30 degrees celsius out of the water during the day, and 30 degree water temps.
1.5-2mm wetsuits are perfect.
February is mostly glass-out ocean conditions (no wind) aka the most perfect diving conditions. -
Spearfishing Ability
Every ability level is welcome, however it is more suited to those with some experience. If you can spear at 10m+, you will have the chance to shoot incredible fish.
If you are completely new to spearfishing - we will teach you everything you need to know to get started. -
Your Vibe
This trip is for those looking to make life-long friendships, experience the raw untouched beauty of the Solomon Islands and aren't too focused on shooting a fish but rather experiencing as much as possible! Those who are also happy to roll with the punches of Mother Nature!

Food
Sit back and relax with 3 meals per day cooked by our own private cooks. The mouth-watering week's menu showcases the best and freshest meals cooked with locally grown fruits and veggies, as well as your pick of the fish you catch! You are welcome to take charge of cooking if you wish to prepare your own meals with the fish you catch, the cooks will be your kitchen hand!

Waterfall trip
Guided Jungle Trek. This walk starts right out the front of the accommodation, and follows the coral lined shores. There are incredible shells to find along the way, and the guide will show you a human skull where tribes used to reside and when head hunting was a part of the culture!
Fossilised Coral Cave. Just a 10 minute walk from the accommodation finds you at the most insane cave system (you will be given torches and a guide!)
Basket weaving classes with the local ladies
Wood carving lesson and try yourself - take home your own carved chopping board
Village Tour
Local wood-carving show (one of the highlights of the trip, where you can buy incredible artwork straight from the locals)
Our Reef-side Bungalows
Get ready for your nervous system to completely reset here.
We’ll be staying in a collection of private bungalows tucked within the island’s tropical jungle, surrounded by lush rainforest and sweeping ocean views. Just steps from your door, an incredible coral reef waits to be explored.
Mornings begin with birdsong and the gentle sound of waves; nights are filled with the hum of crickets, the glow of fireflies, and the soft patter of rain on the leaves.
There’s no noise from the outside world, just nature, and space to truly unwind. There's no roads, no cars and no towns.
Each home is fully screened and thoughtfully designed for comfort, blending Western-style build quality with local Solomon Island character. Every bed is fitted with a mosquito net and every room has overhead fans to keep you comfortable at night. There is high speed internet in each bungalow.
Freediving Courses
Complete your Molchanovs Wave 1 or Wave 2 Freediving Course in warm, crystal-clear waters with dramatic coral cliff drop-offs and no depth limits. Courses include a blend of line diving with a maximum of 3 students per instructor, and engaging theory sessions.
If you're new to freediving, you’ll begin with your Wave 1 Course — and may even progress to Wave 2. If you’ve already completed Wave 1 (or an equivalent), you can jump straight into Wave 2.
For those who have already completed Wave 2, this is your chance to receive personalised coaching and train for depth and more relaxation next to coral cliffs. It's pretty surreal diving here.
Spearfishing
Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your spearfishing to the next level, our expert instructors and guides will be running daily workshops and diving alongside you to offer hands-on support and guidance.
Every single day we'll be visiting different islands and reefs to spearfish. You'll be guided in small groups in the water by experienced freediving and spearfishing instructor @elliehayden, who has been diving these reefs for the past four years and knows how to hunt these areas.
You'll dive alongside your guides, who will demonstrate how to hunt and dispatch the fish, and you'll be safely buddied the entire time.
Even if you don't have much experience, you'll leave this trip with the knowledge, skills and, most importantly, the confidence to successfully hunt your own fish and process it all the way through, from filleting to cooking your catch a few different ways. We'll be eating what we catch each night!
Throughout the trip, our spearfishing workshops will break down everything you need to know: the different hunting techniques, spearfishing safety, how to be the best buddy in the water, and how to handle sharks. You'll come away diving deeper, staying down longer, and hunting like you never imagined possible.
Trip FAQs
How long will we be diving per day?
We will be heading to several different hand picked spots throughout the week to showcase the best dive spots of the area.
Some days will be half days, while others will be full days out on the water.
What Certification can I get?
If you haven't done a freediving course before, you will be able to do the Molchanovs Wave 1 Course and if things are progressing well, you can complete the Wave 2 Course.
What if I don’t want to get a freediving certification?
You may take the opportunity to improve your freediving with coached line diving sessions, unlimited depth and clear, warm water. There is no better place to improve your freediving ability.
What gear do I need to bring?
You will need to bring all of your own freediving and spearfishing gear with you. We will supply you with dive weights so you don’t have to travel with them.
How do I travel with dive gear/spearguns?
Traveling with your fins and gear in a dive bag or a sportstube.
What if I have dietary requirements?
The cooks will cater for your food requirements with the freshest local produce.
Is there internet?
Yes, every bungalow has high speed internet.
