This will be our 13th trip to Fiji since 2021 - there is a reason we can't stop coming back to this very special part of the Pacific, and we can't wait to show you.
We’ve teamed up with local legends of Rakiraki, to bring this trip that we spent a year putting together, to life. This is the Fiji most visitors never get to see. Wild, untouched, alive with culture, and home to some of the healthiest coral reefs we've seen anywhere in the world.
During the week, you'll stay in luxury accommodation overlooking the very reefs we’ll be diving. Spend your days diving and spearing remote atolls and islands, endless blue water, incredible fish, guided spearfishing with freediving instructors who have years of experience spearfishing in Fiji, and a skipper with over 40+ years of local experience (and who knows the best dive spots around).
Also running during the trip will be Molchanovs freediving courses - for those wanting to learn or level up in a no pressure environment. These include a mixture of line diving, theory workshops and pool sessions.
You’ll experience a Fijian lovo (traditional beach cookup) with a catch and cook on an island with the fish you catch.
You’ll wander through a village, sit in a kava ceremony, hike to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world that most travellers never hear about, and explore a remote island filled with thousands of nesting seabirds (for all you bird loving enthusiasts, and if you're not already one - you will be)
We created this trip to bring together adventure, culture, and world class freediving and spearfishing in one of the most naturally biodiverse corners of the Pacific. If you’re ready to experience the true Fiji, we’d love to have you with us.

Freediving Ability
All abilities are welcome, however it's encouraged to have already completed a Wave 1 (or equivalent) freediving course before the trip so you get the most out of the diving in Fiji.
Spearfishing
Spend five days on the water, exploring some of Fiji’s most stunning dive sites, reefs, atolls, and islands. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced spearfisher, there’s options for everyone. You’ll be guided by seasoned spearos and freediving instructors who will help you sharpen your skills, keep you safe, and take you straight to the fishiest zones.
You’ll dive in small groups with others at a similar skill level, ensuring a safe and supportive experience. Spearfishing in Fiji is truly world-class, especially if you’re comfortable hunting at 15 meters or more. If not, we’ll help you build your confidence and skill set so that diving at these depths feels relaxed, fun, and effortless.
Bring all your own gear, and if you’re unsure what’s needed, just reach out—we’re here to help.
Freediving
Complete your Molchanovs Wave 1 or Wave 2 Freediving Course during the trip, combining line diving with relaxed, engaging theory sessions and pool sessions to improve your technique and relaxation. Our expert instructors will be there to guide you through the whole process, we are never focused over depth and numbers over relaxation and safety.
If you’re new to freediving, you can start with Wave 1—and possibly progress to Wave 2 by the end of the week. If you’ve already completed Wave 1 (or an equivalent course), you can work toward your Wave 2 certification.
The warm, crystal-clear water creates the perfect setting to learn, grow, and explore your potential.

We can’t wait to welcome you to Villa Vanua—a stunning, luxury 4-bedroom villa overlooking the ocean, where we’ll be diving all week. From the villa, you can enjoy views of the vibrant reefs. Trip FAQ’s
Can I join the trip on my own?
Yes! We always have solo travellers joining our trips. It's such an incredible place to meet like minded people who also love ocean adventures, and you'll leave the trip with a bunch of new life long friends.
What wetsuit thickness is best?
We recommend a 2mm - 3mm full freediving wetsuit. The full suit is for reef and sun protection on the big days out on the water.
Do I have to bring my own dive weights?
No, we will have dive weights ready for you so you don't have to travel with your own.
How do I best travel with freediving fins?
The best way to travel with freediving fins is in a hard or padded fin bag to prevent bending or breaking. Wrap the blades in clothing or bubble wrap for extra protection, avoid heavy items on top. If possible, bring them as carry-on to ensure they stay safe.
